Our most popular car show stanchions feature either black posts with black belts or polished stainless posts with black belts. These finishes work well with nearly any vehicle display and provide a clean professional look.
Before contacting us, please measure the perimeter of your display area. If you will not be using the full booth space, measure the distance around your vehicle and mark the position where each stanchion will be placed.
***PLEASE NOTE*** It is not recommended to fully extend retractable belts or ribbons. Leaving a small amount of slack helps prevent the stanchions from tipping if someone leans on the belt.

Many exhibitors automatically choose stanchions that match the color of their vehicle. While matching can work well, many professional displays look better when the stanchions contrast with the car instead.

- A black car with chrome wheels and a red interior may display better with polished stainless posts and red belts rather than black posts and black belts.
- A bright red sports car often stands out more when surrounded by black stanchions with black belts, creating a clean frame around the vehicle.
- A vintage vehicle with chrome trim can look excellent with polished stainless stanchions and black belts that complement the chrome details.
There is no single correct choice when selecting stanchions for your vehicle display. Matching the car can work well, but in many cases contrasting stanchions help frame the vehicle and draw more attention to it.
RECOMMENDED CAR SHOW DISPLAY LAYOUTS
Most indoor car shows and trade shows follow common booth sizes. Using the proper number of stanchions helps create a balanced and professional display perimeter.
- 20′ × 20′ display area: Typically uses 8 stanchions placed approximately 10 feet apart.
- 10′ × 20′ display area: Typically uses 6 stanchions placed around the perimeter.
Spacing stanchions evenly creates a clean viewing boundary while still allowing spectators to easily walk around the vehicle display.
